ABOUT US

We are two Modern Languages students from the Canary Islands, a beautiful archipelago in Spain.

Our names are Paula and Iris, and as you could guess from the topic of this blog, we are very interested in fandom communities! This is a project for our module called Effective Academic and Professional Communication 1 at Aberystwyth University. Our aim with this project is present to our classmates and teacher the origin and basis of fandoms, their impact on our  lives and those of the people who, like us, belong to fandoms.

 

We really hope that this project will bring you a new perspective and more insight of what this beautiful experience involves.
